There are no unified standards, no authoritative testing platforms, no standardized testing methods,
and a lack of visibility verification and comprehensive quality testing and inspection capabilities.
Completion of the national visibility metrology laboratory
This realizes the quantitative transfer of visibility and the task of standard traceability, and undertakes the metrological calibration of the visibility meter.
Automatic metrological verification and quality supervision of visibility meters
A highly automatic calibration system for forward scattering and transmission visibility meters has been established to be compatible with visibility meters from
different manufacturers used in meteorological observation services and to unify standards.
